Wouldn't stay anywhere else!
The Mexsuites Casa Azul B&B was a charming and comfortable place to stay, and made all the better by its host, Mauricio. The property is full of thoughtful details, from the rooms named after famous painters to the gorgeous hand-carved wooden entrance doors. The common spaces are elegant and kept immaculately clean by the friendly staff. Our room was unexpectedly upgraded at no charge, and the owner Mauricio went out of his way to make sure we were able to meet all our sightseeing goals. Since our Spanish was limited, he even negotiated with a taxi driver to take us to Xochimilco, and thoughtfully recommended we see the Dolores Olmedo museum after, which was an excellent suggestion. Mauricio is such a gracious and interesting person, and we greatly enjoyed his company and his excellent hospitality. I would love to visit Mexico City again, and I wouldn't stay anywhere else!
